I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season.  My wish and goal for those of you on Flight 2 with me is that you loose weight during this holiday period.  Try to finish the holidays at least weighing 1/100th of a pound less than you did prior to Thanksgiving. If you can do that, you will have had a successful holiday season on Flight 2 of Get Fit Pod's Year To Get Fit. 

Get Fit Pod Episode 77 released on December 7th is the first opportunity I've had to talk with my listeners since early in November.  The focus of the episode will be on staying positive, overcoming negative thoughts, and bouncing back from adversity. It features some great workout music, and I'll introduce you to three strength exercises which will train your entire body.

Also, on Episode 77 I'll talk with you about why I have decided not to do the What the Funk TV Segments.  The quick and dirty version is that I want to stay focused on our Get Fit Pod goals of getting our bodies healthy and fit, and I feel the What The Funk TV segments may blur some of my focus.  Listen to Episode 77 for more details.  Sorry if this disappoints anyone - but  our goal is physical fitness and health.  I'll leave the mental stuff to others who have more proficiency.

Episode 78 which will be released on December 14th is my special mix of Get Fit Pod Holiday Music, and then our last episode of 2008 will be our Early Winter Outside Running Workout.  There are no episodes the weeks of December 28th and January 4th.  I'll be back after the holidays on January 11th with an episode from Las Vegas which will focus on training your core.
